Panforte di Mendocino
Our panforte, a blending of nuts, honey, spices, candied orange and lemon peel, is baked and allowed to age and mellow. Originally made during the Middle Ages to provide energy for traveling Crusaders using spices from distant lands, this versatile treat is nowadays served as an elegant dessert as well as a snack. Hikers, cyclists and skiers report that this compact confection provides a delicious burst of energy. Paired with an after-dinner brandy or espresso, it provides a memorable finish for a meal. We continue to receive testimonials for our panforte. Our recipe has not changed since Corby Kummer wrote his paean to the Hazelnut (Atlantic Monthly, April 1996): "The best panforte I know comes not from Italy but from the Cafe Beaujolais - potent and deeply satisfying."

Cashew Granola
This mixture of cashews, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, oats, wheat germ, oil and a bit of honey tastes great right out of the bag, sprinkled on yogurt or splashed with apple juice or milk.

Hot Chocolate
Our hot chocolate mix makes hot and cold beverages to delight your family and friends. The mix makes wonderful brownies as well.

Blackberry Jam
From the kitchen of Cafe Beaujolais comes a heady perfume as we make pies, crisps and our special deep-purple jam. For "A taste of Mendocino" it doesn't get more local than this.

Beaujolais Blend Herbs
Locally grown by Fuller's Fine Herbs, a staple ingredient used in many of our dishes. It is a savory combination of organically grown tarragon, basil, oregano, thyme and rosemary.

Austrian Seed Cereal

The main ingredient in our  popular Austrian Sunflower Bread. Contains sunflower seeds, cracked wheat, oats, barley, polenta, millet, buckwheat, flax seed, soy grits and sesame seeds. May be made into a hot cereal also.
