THE BRICKERY

Pizzas prepped and getting ready to be put in the oven.

ABOUT THE BRICKERY

Originally opened in 1990, The Brickery was the birthplace of all Café Beaujolais’ housemade bready creations, including but not limited to Country Sourdough, Cherry Walnut, Brioche, and Austrian Seed.

In 2017, we decided to add some flare. As most people do, we love wood-fired pizza and wanted to introduce thin crust Neapolitan-inspired pizza to Mendocino. Seeing that we already had the perfect brick oven, we decided to test it out, and it ended up being quite the hit with locals and tourists alike.

Like our Dining Room Menu, our pizza menu is built around what is fresh and seasonal. We source as much as we can from local farms (Shout out to Fortunate Farm, Nye Ranch and Wavelength Farm!) and our menu changes frequently because of it.

Over the last couple of years, we have focused on growing our garden and creating a comfortable space for customers to eat pizza with a craft beer in hand. Dog and kid friendly, our garden features a handful of tables and chairs spread throughout to make it extra laid back, fun and enjoyable for all.
